The aerospace sector is a strategic objective for Friuli Venezia Giulia Region.
The Alpe Adria Aerospace Technology Cluster Promoting Commitee (CT3A) aims to include the region in the Italian, European, and international aerospace technology system to strengthen the Space Economy’s scientific and economic growth path.
Integrating and promoting the capacity, experience, and technologies of the Region’s research and industry will help Friuli Venezia Giulia play a leading role in the technological and economic development of both the territory and the nation.
An Aerospace Technology Cluster in Friuli Venezia Giulia: Innovating with Faster Coordination Processes
In light of the awareness that Friuli Venezia Giulia has an opportunity for technological, cultural, educational, scientific and industrial growth in the aerospace industry, the creation of CT3A:
• positions the region in national aerospace development strategies
• opens up to collaborations with neighbouring countries (in particular, Croatia, Austria and Slovenia) to acquire a critical mass in the Alpe Adria area
• attracts attention, resources, and investment
